This painting portrays the raw and horrifying torture of a man in an isolated space. It brings to mind concentration camps. It was provoked by the murder of a businessman in Minsk, which was very alarming for the whole family and partially influenced their decision to relocate to America. Black and brown are the dominating colors in this canvas.
