Laura Palmer was a hero in the mystic serial movie Twin Peaks by David Lynch. Her death was investigated in dozens of episodes by FBI detective Dale Cooper. The dark beauty of the movie has inspired this painting of a floral garden at night. The dominance of black paint here is challenged by lavish intrusions of yellow, red, blue, and other colors.
